We're just over an hour west of Cranbrook on Highway#3; an hour
and a half east of Nelson on Highway #3 via Kootenay Pass. If you
are traveling from the United States, Creston is three hours north
of Spokane following the #2 Freeway north to Sandpoint, then the
#95 and #1 north to the border crossing of Porthill, Idaho.
Creston is serviced by Greyhound Bus Lines with routes coming in
twice a day from Cranbrook and Nelson.
Creston is within two hours of two major airports the Cranbrook
and the Castlegar Airports. The Creston Valley Airport is 6 km
south of the Town of Creston with an Airstrip 3,945 feet long,
75 feet wide, lighted with PAPI approach lights and non-directional
beacons. Fuel is available and there is limited winter maintenance.
For international flights, Spokane International Airport is a
three-hour drive south of Creston in Spokane, Washington.
