Each day the
beauty of the valley along my 10-minute commute to work still
takes my breath away. It is hard to imagine I can have it all.
Many people do not have the luxury to live and work in such a

keep their neighbors well fed and the variety of produce inspires
some unique culinary dishes.
I�m not sure
if it is the beauty of the area and pace of life that attracts
creative people here or if it ignites the creativity in any one
of us. Whichever it is, we have a vibrant Arts community in the
Creston and Kootenay Lake Valley. Groups such as the Artist Guild
and Artlink are helping to support and inspire the artists. It
is an understatement to say that we have a strong music and theatre
community in the valley. Sharing one's talents is encouraged becasue
it enriches the lives of our residents.
